Thats quite some shot. You in the boat during that ride? If so, tell us about it.

The return ride from a jump like that is usually a real hull craker.

The Coast Guard used to have a photo much like that. They had one of their 44 foot rescue boats and goot it a bit higher in the air than your photo. The shot was taken of a Boat off the Oregon Coast in the winter of about 1972. I talked to the captain who did the deed for the shot. The boat almost did not recover from the fall as it displaced so much water on the fall, it almost submerged. And that rescue boat, was designed to survive stuff like that.
